Janet Connochie

Janet completed her B.Sc.(Hons) in Chemistry at the University of Canterbury in 1997.

Following this she went to Texas as a research student at Southwestern University. While there she co-presented a poster "Transition Metal Complexes of Polyamide Cages and Macrocylces" at the 215th ACS National Meeting in Dallas.

In 2000 Janet completed the Graduate Diploma in Laboratory Technology at Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.

Since joining Chemsafety in July 2002 as the Technical Officer, Janet has expanded her skills and is now a Senior Chemical Consultant, and HSNO Test Certifier.

Janet also handles much of the administration, including the electronic records, and has been the technical expertise behind some of our more innovative report presentation techniques.
